Chef Miami -Salmon quinoa Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 cup chopped carrot
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 beaten egg white
  • 1 pound ground salmon
  • 1 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 3 tbs low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbs parsley flakes

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 380 degrees. Spray a 10' pie sheet with nonstick spray.

Step 2

In a food processor place onion and garlic and pulse until finely chopped.

Step 3

Add celery and tomato and pulse five times.

Step 4

In a saucepan cook the mixture in medium heat for about 10 min or until vegetables begin to brown.

Step 5

In a bowl mix with your hands egg white, ground salmon, quinoa and soy sauce.

Step 6

Add Vegetables to the bowl and mix gently.

Step 7

Place mixture into the pie sheet.

Step 8

Bake for about 40 min or until browned.
